Cosmetic eyebrow tattoo is where you get very realistic brows (that nature intended but missed the memo), by implanting pigment into the upper dermis of the skin for a natural yet defined appearance. If you are hoping to reconstruct, add definition, fill in gaps/sparse areas, minimise your daily routine whilst naturally enhancing your eyebrows & facial features this is for you! Specialising in several techniques, allows me to offer my clients the most suitable technique for them (skin condition, & lifestyle are a determining factor). I custom design your brows with symmetry tools & techniques whilst using your facial features as my guide to find your most flattering shape. No brow design is mapped the same as it is customised especially for you.
Touch ups are required between 12-18 months usually to keep a fresh & natural appearance (very low maintenance), you may still require some maintenance (shaping & tinting).
MICROBLADING $500

Who is not suitable for permanent make-up? If you are under 18. If you are pregnant or trying to conceive. If you are breastfeeding you will need to express enough for 2 feeds for after your treatment. (Anaesthetic will be applied during your treatment which is absorbed into your blood stream). If you have a pacemaker you will not be suitable for ombre or powder brows, microblading may be possible. If you have been on Roaccutane, Accutane or acne medications within the last year. If you take Aspirin, Fish oil, Niacin, Vitamin E, Ibuprofen or Blood thinners please do not for 72 hours before your appointment (with supervision from your GP). If you have any autoimmune diseases. If you have Hepatitis or HIV. If you suffer from excessive Keloid scars. If you have any issues with wounds healing.
Whats the difference between microblading, combination, ombre and powder brows? Both Microblading, powder and ombre brows are great options depending on the individual. Microblading uses a hand held tool with a sterile micro-blade to create very fine hair strokes that mimic the natural brow hairs. Microblading is a great option for a hydrated, smooth and firm skin (not oily/large pores). I am very strict who I will microblade as it unfortunately isn't suitable for all.
Ombre uses a digital machine with a sterile micro-needle to create more of a make-up appearance with a gradual fade, lighter at the start of the brows and darker towards the tails. Ombre is a great option for everyone/all skin types! Once healed it gives a beautiful natural appearance!
Powder uses the same machine shading technique as ombre. Powder has more pigment density rather than the gradual fade as it is more defined through the front of the brows. Powder is a great all skin types, if you draw your eyebrows on or prefer a slightly fuller look.
Is it painful? A numbing agent is applied pre & during treatment to ease discomfort, you may still feel a slight scratching sensation but it definitely comfortable however this does vary between individuals. A lot of my clients do fall asleep & find the procedure rather relaxing though!
How long will it last? You will need a colour touch up in approximately 12-18 months to maintain a fresh & natural appearance, however it is impossible to state exactly how long permanent make-up may last as healing is specific to each individual. Factors such as your skin type, medications, sun exposure and lifestyle will affect the longevity of your permanent make-up.
Why do I need a touch up 6 weeks after the initial appointment? Your touch up will ensure the longevity of your colour. It also eliminates the risk of your skin being over worked in the first session to reach the desired result. Your touch up appointment should be no longer than 3 months after your initial appointment. Your 6 week touch up appointment is included in your initial payment price. Touch ups after this time will incur an additional fee. Sometimes a third touch up is required & will incur an additional fee.
What are the pigments used? Tina Davies, I love Ink pigments. These pigments look warm initially to prevent them from healing, grey, dull or ashy. The pigments used are cosmetic pigments rather than body tattoo pigments so they are designed for naturally soft facial enhancements.
How is the pigment chosen? Pigments will be selected based on your skin tone, hair and eye colour. Colours are customised to each individual for a suitable match. Feel free to bring your eyebrow pencil or come with your eyebrows drawn on as you usually would.
Is there risk of allergic reaction or infection? Risk of infection is minimal, the working area is sterilised pre & prior each appointment. I wear sterile gloves for the sterilisation procedure as well as during the procedure. All equipment is sterile and sealed in packaging which is disposed of after each use. I am certified in BloodBorne Pathogens, which is an additional course on sterilisation for cosmetic procedures. Aftercare is provided to reduce risk of infection after procedure. Allergic reactions are extremely rare. Patch tests can be performed 48 hours upon your request.
What shall I expect after the treatment? Immediately after the treatment you may be slightly red with a little swelling. You may have lymph fluid which is a clear fluid in the brow area after your treatment. Lymph fluid becoming dry and crusty on the treated area needs to be avoided, so gently blot the area with your sterile saline pads to absorb any lymph fluid. The day after your treatment the colour will appear darker as it begins to heal. As your eyebrows heal you will see the pigment widen and the colour will soften, you may experience slight scabbing/flakiness. It is very important to follow the aftercare as I advise (NO picking). Can I return to work the same day or day after? Yes, minimal swelling will last 24-48 hours.
Why can't I get my eyebrows wet or exercise for 10 days after my treatment? Think moisture, think bacteria! Sweat acts an exfoliant so needs to be avoided. It is important to remove any risk of infection and not compromise the healing process. Remember 70% of healed results are due to the correct aftercare being followed.
What maintenance will my brows need? This is a low maintenance option, it is not completely maintenance free, you may still need to maintain your eyebrows with waxing, tweezing & tinting etc. Your genetics and lifestyle will affect how your tattoo lasts and you may still need to powder/pencil your eyebrows in.
Can I bring my children, friends or family with me? Unfortunately not. Appointment times are 2.5 hours and I need complete concentration.
Will I need to pay a deposit? Yes, to confirm your appointment I require $100 deposit which will be taken off your payment. If making an online bank transaction please state your name & booking date as the reference. My account number is: 02 0865 0089470 000 What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment? If you wish to cancel your appointment I require at least 48 (business) hours notice, if this notice is given you will be refunded 80% of your deposit. If less than 48 (business) hours notice is given you will forfeit your deposit.
